This song's lyrics have to be my favorite mainly because I had something that happened to me that was very similar to what the song explains. This song is really straight forward and talks about a girl that he loved and and that he did not deserve. The second part (starting with 'I still press your letters to my lips') talks about him missing her and her not fighting to keep their love strong. In the end she sold him out to save herself, meaning that she used him.

This is the slow one. Its another personal one.Again, not naming names its about someone who helped me through a lot and i thought she felt the same way that i did and she really let me down. at the same time, it was good that she did, because it was that final push to me figuring out myself. The lyrics are pretty self explanatory. -Corey Taylor

I think indefinitely as he(Corey Taylor) has hinted towards it being about his wife Scarlett. He asked her to leave him because, he is completely different now then before. He's changed for the worse for her and he feels evil. Yet he wants her light to stay in his life because its helped so far on. But he asks her to leave him and stay away. To have no contact. Yet in the part of the song with the letters to the lips. He still misses her. He misses her so much. But knows that he cannot have her back because of the choices in between them at this point. That hes almost forced her to give and leave. That being one of the most admirable things because, its impossible to let the significant other leave because it will pain yourself. He asks her to leave for her own happiness and wellbeing. Sacrificing his own stability, and pain.
