Sorry buddy but this song is about methamphetamine use. "dust in my lungs..." & "I'm just another hardling psuedo-statistic" clearly depict methamphetamine use. Being a former meth addict, I recognize these lyrics when I hear them. Other methamphetamine dedicated songs include Green Days "Brain Stew" and Green Days "Geek Stink Breath". Peace, Russel

No, Russel, I'm sorry. This song has nothing to do with drug use. "The Blister Exists" details how what they've said in their songs is true. What any of these band members has experienced is real and even through the harsh times of their life they have suffered, people can still be condescending and malice. Take for example: "Chemical burns and the animalistic; I'm just another hardline pseudo-statistic." "Blood on the paper and skin on my teeth; trying to commit to what's beneath." Even take the chorus for example, "I am all but what am I? Another number that isn't equal to any of you." Sounds to me like a man who went through some rough times is still frowned upon in society.

The Blister does Exists and if you're a real maggot you're doin' the right thing by believing this. It's informing the World that everything SLIPKNOT talks about is true and not false. It's no fucking bullshit. It's about the PASSION of SLIPKNOT, the (sic)ness inside of us. It's that thing that every maggot feels inside about the band. It's just "WHY NOT" and if you think different then you're fucked in the head. Corey explains "I am all but what am I? Another number that isn't equal to any of you.". "Can you feel this?" I know I can... Stay (sic)...

I believe that this song is just to say that pain exists, but you can pull through it no matter how harsh it is.

It's about how everything that they have said in their songs does exist and is part of the band's inner workings. kinda like..i guess you could call it a song on how complacent (not caring at all) people are can be sometimes, and that as much as he tries to show himself..he still is called the same thing (chemical burns and the animalistic, I'm just another hardline pseudo-sadistic... I'm just another blank face, push the button pull the rage) -Corey Taylor
