This is a good song. Not much to it but lets take it apart.

"Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me / I aint the sharpest tool in the shed / she was lookin kinda dumb with her finger and her thumb in the shape of an L on her forehead."

INTERPRETATION: Ignorance is bliss...ok so look at the lyrics, he's sayin she was lookin kinda dumb because he didn't know what the sign language was for loser..also he thinks life is great because he's dumb...

"Well the years start comin and they don't stop comin, fed to the rules and I hit the ground runnin, didn't make sense not to live for fun, your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb"

INTERPRETATION: Live life like you want to and have fun...Look at the lyrics he even says live for fun and break the rules

"So much to do so much to see so whats wrong with takin the backstreets, you never know if you don't go, you never shine if you don't glow..."

INTERPRETATION: DOnt rush, life has many rewards....try new things and work your way to the top...

ok the chorus has one cool line: All that glitters is gold...basicly its saying find the good in everything...

You're bundled up now but wait 'til you get older
But the meteor men beg to differ
Judging by the hole in the satellite picture"

INTERPRETATION: Life only gets harder as you get older so live in the moment but some people don't think so...

"The ice we skate is getting pretty thin
The waters getting warm so you might as well swim
My world's on fire how about yours
That's the way I like it and I never get bored"

INTERPRETATION: Go with the flow...when life gives you lemons make lemonade...enjoy living...

"Somebody once asked could you spare some change for gas
I need to get myself away from this place
I said yep what a concept
I could use a little fuel myself
And we could all use a little change"

INTERPRETATION: Were not all that different...life is a great thing...
