It's about being raped "I said ya shouldn't have worn that dress" and well if you listen you will get it.

I agree this song is about rape, but then again maybe not. 'You wouldnt want me have to hurt you too, hurt you too?' meaning he has obviously hurt other girls. 'you shouldn't have worn that dress.' the girl being referred to in this song obviously wore something basically asking for it. on the contrary to the rape.. 'I know you want whats on my mind I know you like whats on my mind I know it eats you up inside' there chorus says the girls wants it, she likes the idea of having sex, and is ready to go.

I like where you're going with this, BUT... I think you might be a tad bit off. Now he does say "I know you want what's on my mind..." Obviously, if I were a rapist, (which I'm not!!), I'd WANT the victim to believe with all her mind that she wanted it. When he says "You want me to hurt you too?" I think he's asking you want me to take it, AND have to hurt you doing it? Just my opinion...

FOr those out there, I'm a huge fan of Scott Weiland and STP will always be my favorite band. Scott stated at a concert, after being accused by the media of advocating rape, that the song was about the oppression women have in society. Look it up. "This for all the assholes that think I'm a rapist," Scott says to the crowd during a show
