In the song the lead singer writes very demonic lead lyrics which leads me to believe, (along with supporting evidence including current themes and the suicide of his ex-girlfriend) that the main character has a girlfriend who commits suicide, in the song the devil "appears" to him in a dream and tells him that if he wants to be with her again he must suicide himself. In the end it is a message to help you choose your partner correctly because anything can happen

This is a very good song. but I think that Devon (girlfriend who commits suicide) was stupid for killing herself because nothing in this world is worth losing your life over. God wanted us to stay on this earth till HE decided when its time for us to leave. God should be only one to take our lives not us. God has a reason for us to stay on this earth. Suicide is more common in teens than in adults.
