This song is about Taylor's boyfriend cheating on her and how she feels about it, and that he should have said no to the other girl and still had Taylor in his mind.

Her boyfriend went off and cheated on her. The word got around and she got ticked, saying that he shouldn't have done it (You should've said no you should've gone home). Then he told people by mistake (You should've thought twice before you let it all go). Now she's asking herself why he did it(I shouldn't be asking myself why) and he's trying to go back to her because she dumped him(You shouldn't be begging for forgiveness at my feet).

This song is obviously about her boyfriend, sam, cheating on her and is now begging for forgivss at my feet at her feet and all she says bacck is ˙ou shouldve said no, baby and you might stil have me" I believe this song can relate to many and is a very well worded song... ily taylor x x x x x baby girl
