   I think The Way I Loved You is an original song describing the conflicting feelings of loving someone who's completely wrong for you, and trying to reach perfection with someone else.... but when you got it, you realize you miss the wild one who makes your life difficult but so damn beautiful and exciting, a "roller coaster kinda rush". In the song, Taylor starts talking about the perfect boyfriend: he opens up the door for her, talks business with her father,says she's beautiful and makes all her single friends jealous, and she feels okay: the rhythm is scanned and the music is "tidy". But as soon as the chorus starts, music becomes overwhelming and Taylor starts remembering her ex-boyfriend, who's complicated, bad-tempered but terribly exciting and awesome.

   Basically, she loved one guy but it was more of an arguing relationship than a (what i call) "lovey-dovey" relationship. so she breaks up with him and finds a perfect gentleman. but she sees that life is just too perfect for her and she doesn't feel anything with him. I'd gone through a lot ofstuff at home and Ifeltlike I neededa friend who would just listen and support me. I did meet those kinds of friends. Butwhat really got me was the one girl who treated me like crap. No matter what she said or did to me,I always hung around her. She would make fun of me and it hurt at times.    This song is about two different relationships with two completly different boys, one who is a perfect gentleman, and one who was complicated, hard to understand, etc.
   Taylor dated the complicated guy, and their relationship was up and down but they still loved each other alot. Then, they broke up and she dated the perfect guy, but the "sparks" just weren't there. Us girls all know that there's this one guy in our life that are sooo complicated, but you still love him to death, he's the 'one'.     I think the song is about a girl who is dating a guy who is the epitome of the perfect boyfriend. He is sweet, caring and everything else she says but before she dated a guy who she had a crazy relationship with. Her relationship with her former boyfriend was a rollercoaster ride but her relationship with her current boyfriend is boring.     I think that this song is about a girl, (Taylor Swift) who has the perfect boyfriend. The one who tells her she is beautiful, who calls when he says he will, makes an effort to make her parents like him, and understands her. But, their relationship has been up and down ("But I've been screaming and fighting") ("Rollercoaster kind of rush"). He drives her crazy but she loves him.("So in love that you act insane")(And you were wild and crazy/ Just so frustrating, intoxicating, complicating/) But in the end, she loves him very much.
