I think this is about a guy dating his ex-girlfriend - "my eyes don't recognise you no more" - and he's never done anything llike it before. the "For Reasons Unknown" bit is all about how he doesn't know why he's doing it.

this song is cleary about a man who has been in a realationship for many years. he no longer loves his partner and even though he is getting old and is scared of leaving her he is just going to bite the bullet and go.

i thinks it's about a guy who has been going out with a girl for ages and now he's fallen out of love with her - he doesn't know why maybe they've just drifted apart. despite this it's still a bit hard for him to tell her he wants to leave

I think this song talks about death, and how he dies or feels the feeling of dying because he is madly in love… but the think is that he can't understand what is happening to him,he is confused… I think the part “and my heart it don't beat it don't beat the way it used to and my eyes they don't see you no more and my lips they don't kiss the way they used to and my eyes don't recognized you no more for reasons unknown”… it talks about the next life he’s living or is like he doesn't remind her because he is living other things in other life! :D I love this song because of my own interpretation of it.

After Listening to this song afew times i can to this conclusion that i think it is about people getting old beacuse "my lips don't kiss the way they used to" and "my eyes don't see you no more" and they are saying that they know they are getting old but they don't know why they have to which is where the name For Reasons Unknown comes in... i more then likely wrong but this is what i think

I always loved this song, but even more so now after hearing him describe it.
