A beautiful song, I myself live in waterloo, london. The place isn't that great, the bench outside waterloo station doesn't have that great a view (it's a dirty river) but for this guy, "As long as I gaze on, waterloo sunset, I am in paradise" and I suppose the song is just about that special place where you feel safe and sound, an island of sanity in a world gone mad, and that's why I feel this song is a very beautiful one and one of my favourites.
