Mick was in the South area when this song was inspired. "I met a bar hop queen in memphis, she tried to take me upstairs for a ride,she had to heave me right across her shoulder, she blew my nose and then she blew my mind." Its about a few afairs in the south with honkey tonk women in that part in particular he was talking about even being too tired for sex until she gave him some cocaine but altogher i think it conveys his love for southern belles, we do have quite a reputation for being crazy and when he left the U.S. he was probably missing the fast lane of the deep south and the coke "its the honky tonk women that give me gimme the honky tonk blues."

It starts out,"I met a gin-soaked barroom queen in Memphis" NOT a bar-hop whatever....
