Sorry, dude, but this song is not completely sexual frustration. It's about Mick escaping a hard relationship and he cant get satisfaction out of ANYTHING (When I’m drivin’ in my car/And that man comes on the radio/And he’s tellin’ me more and more/ About some useless information/ Supposed to fire my imagination.) He gets annoyed at things he usually enjoys and girls can see this and so they don't want him.

My take is unfulfilled expectations of consumers in an increasingly commercialised world. all products guarantee complete satisfaction but how many actually deliver?

Ok first off the last couple lines of the song are about a chicks period "And I'm tryin' to make some girl Who tells me baby better come back later next week 'cause you see I'm on losing streak" and how he can't fuck her because of it

i just wanted to say first of rockon how can you seriously come on here and tell somebody that they are wrong on their interpretation of the song this sight isn't for finding what the singer meant by it its about learning how others perceive the song and make their own interpretations. everyone sees the world differently. OK now i listen to that song id it just genrally sounds like its a song that's about depression in his life. he describes a life of hoplessness and how nothing seems to work out for him such as the girl that tells him to comeback next week. when people are depressed nothing seems to matter everything seems life less and unimportant, like the usless information and how its suppose to light his fire but he obviously doesnt have that fire lite for him.

krurien, rockon was totally justified in saying "sorry, dude this song is not completely about sexual frustration." he disagreed, moved on and then posted his take.

Most would like to interpret there some kind of sexual innuendos in this lyrics, which is something typical with rock bands (drugs, sex, etc) However, I have to agree that it has a lot to do with what the band experienced during their tour. It was originally written by Keith. It's a frustration with conformity through commercialism and being inundated with tons of 'useless' information fabricated by 'experts' that could change our lives. On top of which he simply can't get laid (on a personal level).
