This song is about a guy who is having trouble with his girl friend. But no matter how much she hurts him, he still will always love her. I have a similar situation with a girl I know and no no matter what she does, I want her to know that I will always love her. By far the stones best works!

Does anyone of you know at least A LITTLE of the Rolling stones history????
Mick didn´t steal Marianne from Brian. Brian's girlfriend was Anita Pallenberg, and the one who stole her from Brian was Keith.
Keith said about that incident that Brian, Anita and himself were driving on the route going somewhere on vacation. They had a problem, Brian had to go for help and Keith and Anita stayed alone and, as Keith said "amazing things can happen in the back of a car".
Please, before writing, read a bit!!

I think this song has two people telling a story. The first two verses are the first person (husband?) acknowledging that his wife (partner?) has a terminal illness, and is watching her suffer the end of her life.
The last verse is the second person (wife) saying that that they've had a good life but her time is near, but she'll see him in the after-life to continue their journey.

It's about the little girl inside the woman. " the things that you wanted i bought them for you. Her family was poor and like everyone she's had her share of pain. Now she's a woman and she finally know's and likes who she is and wild horses couldn't drive her away from who she has become. "graceless lady you know who i am" now she's older and wants to have some fun and do some living before she dies.

i think its about a father that was unable to raise his child alone, so he leaves her with a family. breaking the little girls heart to lose her daddy. and than he decides to get her back. but by then she no longer remembers him and wants to stay with her adopted family.

The meaning of this song seems so obvious to me. These two people have been together for awhile. They've loved each other and hurt each other. Specifically, the singer has previously hurt the other. Now it's the other person who has betrayed the singer. But the singer is saying that he's not leaving; that no matter how much it hurts, he's staying with her. That he loves her enough to get past the hurt--that he'll forgive her--that nothing can drive him away. It's a beautiful, poignant, raw declaration of commitment and love.

This song was written by Mick Jagger as he sat at Marianne Faithfull's bedside while she was in the hospital for a pretty serious overdose.

This song was written by Mick Jagger as he sat at Marianne Faithfull's bedside when she was in the hospital for a pretty serious overdose.
This song is about her and his feelings for her.

This song addresses the "graceless lady" with whom the speaker has had an inappropriate relationship, creating "a sin and a lie." The lady feels guilty, suffering "a dull, aching pain" and at times punishes her lover for her own betrayal. It conveys the emotional pain caused by an (adulterous, probably) affair, one that the speaker can't be dragged away from, despite all the tears that "must be cried."

I should have prefaced my earlier submission by saying that, like all good art, "Wild Horses" has meaning beyond the biographical. It may have been spawned as Jagger sat at Marianne's bedside, but it is far more than mere documentation of that moment. It is a testament to its emotional power and ambiguity that the song speaks different things to different people.
