It's a love song --

He can't tell whether or not she likes him as much as he likes her and is hoping to find out. Not knowing makes him nervous and he wants to know if she sighs lovingly at the thought of him or if she spits at the thought of him, doesn't like him very much.

When the two of them talk, she spits all kinds of insults at him but he'll take all she can throw at him just to prove that he is good enough.

Her love is like a spell, he doesn't know how she gets him so dreamy and all, he wonders why he can't focus on everyday things.
