This song is about Bert's ex-girlfriend, Kate. She apparently died of a drug overdose, and she was carrying his child. He wrote it for her. Sad, I know.

The song is about Bert's ex-girlfrind who died. He's saying that she was wrong about him and he's sorry and it's never to late, even though you're gone.
I love you and could never forget you. I would also like to say that no matter how much I ever told myself that I wasn't writing songs about you ALL THE TIME. I really was and will miss you forever.

The song is about his ex girlfriend and she didn't kill herself, she died of a drug overdose and she was carrying his baby! OMG I LOVE THE USED SO MUCH, HOW GREAT ARE THEY? This song really touches me, it's so sad!! :(

A lot of you don't know much about the Used, apparently. I've been obsessed with them for about 3 to 4 years and reading up on them since forever.

She DID in fact, die of a drug overdose, but it was an accident, a car accident.
she was pregnant with Bert's baby and had an overdose and was driving at the same time, car crashed. She died.

It's sad.

Yeah, it's sad. Bert wrote the song for kate about two years before she died and he used to sing it to her when they were together. When she died, he decided he had to put it on the album.

regardless, of what bert wrote the song about. which, it was written for his girlfriend who died. as actually, many of their songs are. i think, that "song interpretation" is more for what YOU get out of the song. and not the artist's reasoing behind the lyrics. personally, this reminds me of my ex boyfriend. "it's hard to say that i was wrong, it's hard to say i miss you, since you've been gone it's not the same." because, he recently moved to pennsylvania, from NC, and that's just how i feel about him. but really, she did die in a car accident, from a drug overdose, it's one of the saddest stories i've ever heard, but it created some amazing lyrics, from my favorite band.
