I think this song is about a drug addiction. Many people think it's about a suicide, because of the statement "falling from the edge" but I think that that statement symbolizes more of a loss of control than actually falling.

here are a couple hints:

"Do you want to see yourself flying through the night?
This gift is what you need
You're gonna be alright
Eyes close and fall

She cannot sleep 'cause time stands still
Someone's hand is touching her, she has no will
Each time when it hurts, she just feels so alone
She doesn't care at all
Her memories are long gone
Eyes close and fall

She shuts the door
She longs for more and more
And more
She shuts the door

Everyone is watching
Her arms are so sore
But she doesn't care anymore

And falling from the edge

The sky is casting over
Her last wish stays unsaid"

I think this song shows a progression of her addiction, for example, in the beginning it shows her getting a "gift" and then she likes it, wants more, and as the song continues, she gets worse, until the end "falling from the edge" when she loses total control and "her last wish stays unsaid" she might have died, but I think those last two lines just show how there is no turning back for her.

The song is about a girl who is addicted to drugs. When it says something about "this gift" they're talking about drugs and she wants more. And when she's "on the edge" shes getting the effect of the drugs. And when she's "not coming back" I think she eventually dies from the drugs. She's "on the edge", "closer to the edge" and "falling from the edge". And she don't care what anyone thinks anymore. And at the end the lyrics say "The sky is casting over her last wish stays unsaid." saying that she probably died without any last words.

It could very well be a song about drug addiction. But if you think about it, it could also be cutting.

Well this is the English version, and that does sound good, but the German translation literally translates "Cut to Happiness." Just sayin.

I also think it's about drugs and sucide but in his middle verse he said someone hand is touching her and everytime it hurts so it. Also could be about rape or molestation
