Scream is about saying what you want -or better yet screaming it out loud to get your point across. Don't let anybody tell you who you are. Scream it to them saying who you are.

This part is just mentioning the people who try to control you, tell you what to do, and pretty much boss you around without asking your opinion, and not caring what you want. (And noone is asking what you wanted anyway)

Hmm.. I think of this as producers, or just regular people, promising you all this stuff. And when it becomes a reality, you give in and want more and more.

i think this song is about just saying no to everyone who is trying to control you. that you let it get to the point where it's only natural, but one day you get tired of listening to everyone and just say no.
