A Vampire's Lament Lyrics
I'm happy you'll never understand...
what it's like to be... trapped under six feet of...
solid glass... I can see out, but no one gets in...
Screaming at the prison...
I've locked...

This song is about vampires, and how even though they don't want to, they're forced to kill other people. If they don't kill people and drink their blood, they'll die, so they have to kill innocent people even though they don't want to. This song talks about the struggles of having to live with a conflict such as that.
The line "I used to be golden" refers to before this individual was turned into a vampire, then "the turning came," "I kissed the sun goodbye," refer to after they've been turned into a vampire. -
