Hey Brother Lyrics

Hey brother there's an endless road to rediscover.
Hey sister though the waters sweet but blood is thicker
Ohhh if the sky comes falling down for you there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do

Ahhhh what if I'm far from home? Oh brother I...

I think this song means the little boy sees his dad as his brother. Then the dad goes away to a war and dies. It also means the boy was saying he would do anything for his family

The song is about two brothers who spend the childhood together and play together, they are always there for each other and always will be, when they get older the older brother has a son and he plays with him like he did with his younger brother, but he went into war and died and that's why the little boy (his son) said why are you going away daddy? and they are at his funeral

I think it's about a brother who's remembering all the good, fun times he had with his brother as a child. The older one died in the war, and they're at a funeral for him.

The song is about being there for your siblings, but about when they need help you should help them. when they do something they love then you should support them all the way.
But its not just about siblings its about your FAMILY, and how its the most important thing in the world. Not games, not friends, nothing. nothing is more important than family. For instance in the video the picture goes from a kid to a man. his father.

this song is very touching to me because I've been a dick to my brother for years now but I've always loved him and I would let nothing harm him.

I interpreted it about a boy during wartime America who imagines his father who died in war to a brother he never had...?

I think this could be interpreted as a love song that God is singing to us. God talks to us via Hey brother or Sister, then we respond with the questions.

In my opinion the song is about a Guy who tells his siblings that he will be always there for them ("if the sky comes falling down, for you, there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do"). He also applies to his brother who wants to leave that he also should be there for the singer "What if I'm far from home?
Oh brother I will hear you call" like he is always there for him, "Oh, if the sky comes falling down, for you, there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do". With the sister it is nearly the same thing except of her having a boyfriend instead of wanting to move away. She seems to care just about her love so the interpreter reminds her that though "the water sweet" wherewith he talks about her boyfriend, "blood is thicker" so he says that the family should aleays be more important than the boyfriend. Basically he applies to his brother and his sister to be there if he's in trouble like he was and always will be for them.
