Sound of Pulling Heaven Down Lyrics

Somewhere, far away from here
I saw stars, stars that I could reach (yeah)
It was a midnight, a silent twilight
Fell down, beyond the ocean beach (yeah)

I assemble all the sand that cover wedding beaches
To build a castle so your mom would...

I think it is the sound she makes when she is having an orgasm.

Extra note, the stars that can be reached are the sparkles from the moon reflecting on the ocean. If Blue October truly wrote this song, then I give them MASSIVE props for this level of articulation.

I apologize for digging this out of the grave but I think I just discovered a fantastic double entendre to this song.

The sound of pulling heaven down is thunder.

The mom is the ocean. The lovers are the moon and ocean creating rain. Read through virtually all of the song and you'll find double meanings behind nearly every word which is ocean related. Examples being Reach, Kiss, Hills (as in waves), key. These are references to crashing waves caused by the moon's orbit.

The castle he refers to exists! it is the beaches themselves, housing the mother ocean, created by the waves and rain.

If the song is not exactly a love song about the moon and ocean, it's at least about the appreciation of their matrimony.

This is a song about the intense feeling of "you make me so much more than I was before" and "you and I can do anything" that you get with a new love. It is full of flowery metaphors (eg. "I assemble all the sand that covers wedding beaches/to build a castle so your mom can have a place to stay"), but that is pretty much the whole message.
