Praise You In This Storm Lyrics

I barely hear Your whisper through the rain
"I'm with you"
And as...

As I understand it, this song wasn't originally written by The Casting Crowns. Rather, it was written by a mother whose daughter was dying of a deadly disease. Her daughter heard it, and wanted The Casting Crowns to perform it as her last wish. Now, I'm sure about all of the facts; I'm not sure of the relationship between the two people (I'm relatively sure of her being a mother.) and I'm not positive about the disease.

Anyway, the storm is obviously what the mother and her daughter were going through. They were praising God the entire time. They both new what would happen would happen. Whether or not she lived, they would praise God. No matter what happened, they wouldn't blame God and they would stay faithful.
