   Basically this song is about the fact that he is at rock bottom and he is completely broke and can't provide for his family
   
   He also hints that he may resort to crime as an awnser to solve his money issues
   
   'I'm running up on someone's lawn with guns drawn'
   'It means I'm stealing your cheque book and forging your name'
   
   He also says that this is the way many people turn becaue they are blinded by their need of money and will do anything to get their hands on more money

   Okay, I would pretty much say what everybody else has. But I need to say for the millionth time how awesome and real this song is- it is on par with classics lyrically such as Suicidal Thoughts by B.I.G and shit.

   A musical version of the credo of Fight Club - ' it's only when we've lost everything, that we're free to do anything' and the pointlessness of pursuing material gain as a means to self-worth.
   
   Also, it's like a man who just has to say all those things he is thinking, venting his frustration and anger at a society built on the senseless worship of money and objects.
   
   Right at the end, he seems to be saying, ok, I've let it rip, now I feel better, and life goes on.

   Yo linkinparkforeva, if you think about it there really isn't many better or happier things anymore in the world. This song was written after his first album infinite did not sell. He took maybe 10-20 pills and puked them all up during a suicide attempt. I don't think he used guns & drugs to get money, though. I think that was just 50 cent.

   This song is about when Eminem's life was really s***. He had no money, got fired on an almost daily basis, and used drugs and guns to get money. He becomes extremely depressed, almost contemplating suicide. This is an extremely depressing song, I suggest you listen to happier things afterwards!
