He is obviously puts his addiction over his woman. He regrets the fact he wasn't there for her. He will lose her and lose it all.... if he doesn't get his act together and stay clean. So he can be with her. Because you can tell he loves her so much that it's k.illing him not seeing her. He wants her in his life. There deep in love with eachother.

I totally understand this song because I was in the same situation. It's about a guy that loves his wife or girlfriend but is also in love with or addicted to another woman. He's really going through hell because he is in the middle. Guilt is killing him, he doesn't want to hurt anybody.
