    I think he song thinking bout you is about a man who was once with a girl a long time ago and never really thought of her until recently and he knows her still. He realizes he wants her back so he tells her he wants her back by saying he's been thinking about her but she doesn't want him back. He's telling her what he has now and reasons why they should be together now.
