Joel's just probably struggling over things that are so little like a little person and getting all worked he should just pray for help.

This song is REAL music. It describes the bands struggles during high school and later on in life. Truly, it is an anthem for anyone who has ever been picked on, laughed at, mocked, or made fun of. I don't consider my myself unpopular and I seem to avoid jeer most of the time, but that doesn't stop me from loving and adoring this song.

I think this song is about kids who are being left out. the band them being the ones in school who got made fun of because the way they act or what they do.
