   I think that the video to this song is about taking drugs and what things it can do to you. The guy sees people in masks supposedly coming to get him after him eating a brownie of some sort, maybe with drugs in?

   When he says tongue tied, he means he doesn't know what to say and maybe they met by her best friend, at their house and its a song about her. He doesn't want her to leave. He wants to go back to where they first met. He still loves her and doesn't want it to end.
