   Breathe to me, is really about mental illness's. Depression, anxiety, eating disorders, maybe abusive relationships, even if it's not a mental illness. I can relate so much. The song is so powerful, yet so underatted. It's beautiful, and the most real thing I've ever heard. My favorite song of all time

   In my mind breathe by He is We is a song describing the struggles of life as a person who thinks you have no reason to live. i have tried to commit suicide and this song helps me understand that there is hope out there for me even if i don't see it right away.

   I think this song is about her wanting her life to be over. That she is hurting and that no one can help or save her. She feels alone and all she needs is to be able to breathe again

   I Think its about, a girl, who's has low selfestem, (like me ) and she fakes being happy so well ; that only a few people really know whats going on, (she opens he eyes , suddenly she cries, can we help her)!
   Then she says all she needs is so breath! i feel like this constantly, everyone tries to help, and theres only 3 peolple who really know whats going on. So the other people think they can help but yahno, just give me room.

   In the song "Breathe" by He Is We, the whole meaning behind the story is about a girl that wants to get away from everyone and have some space to be independant. "Tragedy strikes your self esteem" talks about how she has a really low self esteem and anything bad that happens just knocks her down even more. "Confidently waiting for an ending" is talking about how she knows it'll get easier she just has to wait until it does. In the chorus it says "You know I fake it all so well, that God himself can't tell" so she always fakes being happy and wants everyone to know how she really feels so she can stop pretending. In the next she says "People they seem so interested, only a few get invested, with all the aches and pains" she's talking about how there's really only a couple people that are trying to help her, the rest of the people just want to get into her life and make it worse. This song means a lot to me because this pretty much describes how i used to be, never really letting people see how I'm feeling. Then I found people that I can go to so I don't have to hide anymore.
