I believe the "magic medicine" is marijuana. I also believe Incubus is trying to tell us not judging anything just because its fat, and to not be mean. As for the "I found a sound in the house one day" I have no clue.

"On this page you see a little girl giggling a hippopotamus. I wonder why? On this page you see a little girl giggling at hippopotamus. I wonder why? Turn the page, thank you. On this page you see a little girl giggling at a hippopotamus. I wonder why?" A child is looking in a book at a little girl laughing at a hippo, while listening to some version of hooked on phonics(the voice saying all this). "Don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t say things that hurt others, said pussycat. Pussycat, pussycat, pussycat, pussycat like, isn't that hippo fat? Fat, fat, fat, fat, fat, fat, fat, fat, fat, fat or shout hyena I hate you hate you, hate you, you hate you, hate you hate" The child is on a new page, on this page a cat tells the little girl not to say hurtful things like I hate you, or to call someone fat. I found a sound in the house one day, if you know who lost it, I'll give it away! Away! This sound I found said, this sound belongs to a hot ray, ray, hot, pot, pot. The magic medicine worked! I'm not sure what this verse has to do with the last two. For some reason I can't help but think the sound heard is the lighting of a doobie, the hot ray is the light coming from bud and giving it away means sharing (or selling) the weed, the magic medicine is most likely weed.
