   It is obvious that he is realizing that God is real and that he needs to face it. "Face the light" and maybe do what is right. If not now when will he? Like maybe he was wasting his time. He's waited all his life for what happened to him his enlightenment. He's ready to face it instead of hiding. He even says Halleluja every day. Basically he is ready to heal and face up to God what he finally sees is important and real, and he's happier than he's ever been in his life with this epiphany. It could be about death but he is still definatley referring to God.

   It is such a well written song, that I believe whatever you think it is about is what it is about in YOUR life, and not the lyricist. At first I thought it was about death, or stage fright (what it means to me), but other interpretations say it is about getting married, or much more personal events.

   I think he is talking about the events that are rumored to occur near the end of 2012. Which I, personally, are sick of hearing about.
