   (Fear no more mom)
   Mother don't worry, I've got some money I saved for the weekend (he wont ask his mom for any more money)
   Mother remember being so stern with that girl who was with me? (Mom didnt want his girl friend to get in "trouble"..or him to either)
   Mother remember the blink of an eye when I breathed through your body? (She has been there for him since conception)
   So may the sunrise bring hope where it once was forgotten..(things het better with time, and senility)
   Sons are like birds, flying upward over the mountain (boys usually leave home and moms die alone)
   Mother I made it up from the bruise on the floor of this prison (he has had plenty of experience and broke his mothers heart many times)
   Mother I lost it, all of the fear of the Lord I was given (He now understands true religion, and no longer is threatened by Gods rath).
   Mother forget me now that the creek drank the cradle you sang to (they grew up by the creek together...he & his mother)
   Mother forgive me, I sold your car for the shoes that I gave you (he is sorry for being so back handed and stupid like so many young boys are in their teens).

   Sons could be birds, taken broken up to the mountain (life broke him, he may even have a disease from his choices in life now)
   Mother don't worry, I've got a coat and some friends on the corner (he has different friends these days)
   Mother don't worry, she's got a garden we're planting together(new woman in his life now, maybe she can heal him)
   Mother remember the night that the dog got her pups in the pantry? (Did the hungry dog eat her own pups?...yes, probably...IT happens!)
   Blood on the floor, fleas on their paws,
   And you cried 'til the morning.(sad experience for the mom).

   (Life is hard..boys leave home forever!)
