"Inside my skin there is this space / It twists and turns / It bleeds and aches" - This is describing the womb. "Muscle and sinew / Velvet and stone / This vessel is haunted / It creaks and moans" - The woman's body is the vessel that carries the child. "There is this hunger / This restlessness inside of me / And it knows that you're no stranger / You're my gravity" - This refers to the speaker's deep desire to have a child in their life. Though they have never met the child that they are wishing for, it doesn't feel like a stranger to them, but an important part of their life. "And reinvent your name" - Few names are truly original, most of them have been used before by someone at some point. A parent may feel that they are using a name in a unique way when they choose to give it to their own child, thus reinventing it.
