   My initial thought: It seems to me that Gaga is saying that, even though everyone else is "crucifying" Jesus and the things He does, she will stick with him and put up her "hands hands hands" in surrender to those with stones like Jesus did. I don't think this song has any controversial messages, instead it seems to me that Gaga is saying that she will stand by Jesus forever.
   
   But of course, you never know with Gaga. ;)

   i think its about gaga really believing and loving Jesus.
   she starts the song out with

   she says she has always had the love for Jesus and when he died on the cross she told
   the romans he was her religion
   
   (i'm speaking in metaphor)
   
   when punk-ish kills the king(Jesus) i'll be ready for their stones
   
   she will die with him.and when she dies she'll be happy because nothing else can hurt her, she will dance with her hands above her head like many african-americans do in chruch
   she will not kill Jesus for the things he deos because she know its for good
   
   michaelangelo did many religous peices but he cannot carve the pain of seeing Jesus die. she will go to the city of love and wait for Jesus to bring her to heaven and she deos not want to go alone

   i though the song was talking about how she is supposedly Mary Magdalene and she will dance when Jesus shows Pontius that he is the king and she dances because they took Pontious crown away or that she dance when she found out Pontius is not the king

   Two sides: one is about magdalene and her love for jesus (as explained by others), the other is her mother. With the second, the love mentioned could be that of the mother's for his son. 'Bloody Mary' could also be perfectly interpreted as what urban legends suggest- a) Queen Mary I who had several miscarriages, b) a mother whose son was stolen from her driving her mad,
   and c) a baby killer- these cases points to the portrayal the singer wants of the mother 'Mary'- a)a mother in grief for the loss of his beloved son and b) a mother who considered herself a 'killer' with Jesus dying for everybody's sins including Mary's.

   I think the terminology "Bloody Mary" in this song is not be ing used in the since of the Queen Mary trapped in the mirror, but as Mary Magdalene.
   
   Mary Magdalene was a harlot (biblical term for prostitute) for the priest back in her day... The biblical story goes.. The priest brings Mary to Jesus to test Him. To ask what's they should do with her, they wanted to kill her. In the end Jesus saved Mary, and Mary followed Jesus for them rest of here life. She was at them crucifixion and His resurrection.
   
   Now Gaga's song can be flipped two ways from a biblical stand point.
   
   1. There is a term "Having blood on your hands" which means if you where in the wrong and cause someone to sin, their blood is on your hands. Harlots have alot of blood on their hands, from enticing men to divorce. So when Mary came to Jesus she was wiped clean from here past sins, and the blood on her hands where no more. Now to mock Jesus, Mary is still Bloody Mary, still sinful, and Jesus couldn't save her. Mocking and saying that He is not God. (but He is.. Had to throw that in here) ..
   
   And for Gaga to say I wouldn't crucify the things you do.... Well, Jesus had no sin, He is sinless, so Jesus didn't do any wrong. However, if Jesus was never crucified & reserected we nor wound Mary be redeemed from the sin & blood that is on the hands.
   
   Flip it,
   2. A love story, Gaga never giving up, forgiving others not crucifing (condemning) the things he (ex boyfriend) did to her. That she will dance, be lively, free from holding herself back by others wrong. That she is covere in the blood of Jesus, walking in it daily...
   
   Okay just writing that I had a problem with that. The bible saids you can tell alot about a person by the fruit they bare. And tho every human has a right to receive redemption thru Jesus . Idk if that is really what Gaga is talking about. I mean seriously -__- so im sticking with numbet one

   The ghost legends 'Bloody Mary' has absolutely nothing to do with religion. Bloody Mary was a myth tracing back to Queen Mary. Many people died and suffered in her reign. Somehow i think Mama Monster got mixed up or just simply switched the legends around or something. The song talks about Mary as in Mother of Jesus. But Bloody Mary is an...English? I believe, Queen. The song to me is about forgiveness.

    I know this is alittle out there, but I thought the song was about how she had broken up with a guy or whatever, but then instead of crying about it she goes to the bar and gets a bloody mary (like the drink) and just thinks about him or just thinks in general.
