i like the snake on your tatto
i like the ivy and the ink blue

this song hits home to me, or at least the way i interpret it to be.
first of all for those of you who dont know, "yeyo/yayo" is slang for cocaine.
now time to let you know my interpretation.

"i like the snake on your tatto, i like the ivy and the ink blue" to me isnt a literal person, even though she is putting it in our minds of a bad ass dude. but i think she is talking about the drug, and how its bad and how it makes you feel, free and amazing. she likes that. so this whole song is about cocaine, but is refering to it as a guy.

"you have to take me right now from this dark trailor park life now" to me she is talking about how she feels, and she needs the drug to get out of the dark depressing times and to feel a sense of euphoria.

"put me onto your black motorcycle, 50s baby doll dress for my i do. it only takes 2 hours to nevada, i wear your sparkle you call me your mama." is kind of a cluster fuck of things. i think she is saying that she wants the drug, and that she loves it so much, not only for the feeling of euphoria or taking her out of the dark but because it gives her sense of freedom. and since she is refering to the drug as a guy, she is willing to marry the drug due to her fondness of it. she is selling her soul to the guy(drug) by marrying it and nevada is a place where she can do that due to the vegas night life and drug scene.

"let me put on a show for you daddy, let me put on a show. let me put on a show for you tiger, let me put on a show" is now talking about her life in vegas, and due to her high demand for the drug, she will do whatever she needs to in order to get the drug or money for the drug. i believe she is talking about either self prostition or working at a stripclub.

"i need you like a baby when i hold you. like a druggie like i told you. yayo, yeah you, yayo" means that she needs the drug, she craves the drug at all times, she is addicted to the drug. cocaine, yeah you cocaine.

"put me onto your black motorcycle, 50s baby doll dress for my i do. it only takes 2 hours to nevada, i wear your sparkle you call me your mama." like i said this is kind of a cluster fuck of things. i think she is saying that she wants the drug, and that she loves it so much, not only for the feeling of euphoria or taking her out of the dark but because it gives her sense of freedom. and since she is refering to the drug as a guy, she is willing to marry the drug due to her fondness of it. she is selling her soul to the guy(drug) by marrying it and nevada is a place where she can do that due to the vegas night life and drug scene. she sold her soul for the drug.

"let me put on a show for you daddy, let me put on a show. let me put on a show for you tiger, let me put on a show"like i said she is now talking about her life in vegas, and due to her high demand for the drug, she will do whatever she needs to in order to get the drug or money for the drug. i believe she is talking about either self prostition or working at a stripclub.

"hello heaven, you are a tunnel lined with yellow lights on a dark night" to me is self explanitory. she knows that the drug is bad, it can cause some serious damage. but she still uses because again the way it makes her feel. she knows the consiquences but it takes her away from everything making her feel good and easing the pain of her twisted life.

"put me onto your black motorcycle, 50s baby doll dress for my i do. it only takes 2 hours to nevada, i wear your sparkle you call me your mama." like i said this is kind of a cluster fuck of things. i think she is saying that she wants the drug, and that she loves it so much, not only for the feeling of euphoria or taking her out of the dark but because it gives her sense of freedom. and since she is refering to the drug as a guy, she is willing to marry the drug due to her fondness of it. she is selling her soul to the guy(drug) by marrying it and nevada is a place where she can do that due to the vegas night life and drug scene. she sold her soul for the drug.

with that being said that is what i believe this song truly means. it is a rememberance of her past, when she was "young and wild" willing to do what she thinks she has to do in order to get drug.
i see it this way because i was too addicted to cocaine beggining at the age of 14. i wanted a way out and the drug provided me with that and i was willing to do what i had to do for the drug, and i would still use even i knew the things i could do to me. but i no longer do drugs and have been sober for 8 months. Yay Me!

I'm sorry but a lot of these comments here are all wrong.. except it's not wrong for you to feel the way you feel about the song and how it makes you feel! I think that is a beautiful thing, so check this out this is what I learned today. .

The song is about her ex-boyfriend's best friend who she ended up being in love with, and Eventually he and Lana became a couple. They lived in a trailer and obviously cocaine was involved during their relationship, though she has never said out loud that she's done drugs..it's evident. Read between the lines but not too much stans! I keep seeing everyone thinking when she says "hello heaven you are a tunnel lined with yellow lights on a dark night", all this means is that she's going for a drive and she feels like she's in heaven while traveling through this tunnel because it's so dark out but that's okay because she's with him on his black motorcycle and she feels heavenly in that moment.

..also when she says "put me on to your black motorcycle 50 baby doll dress for my eye do, it only takes 2 hours to Nevada I wear sparkle you call me your mama". This just means let's leave the trailer park, on your motorcycle and go get married in this cheap baby doll dress I found .. let's elope in Nevada it's close & I want to be with you cuz I'm your mama and you're my daddy.

she mentions ivy, this is cocaine, and the grey is actually the swirl of the smoke going up into the air.
I though riding on a bike was a reference to a pipe, but other say about getting married? you listen to other songs on paradise and it could also mean pipe.

And she talks abut heaven is a tunnel lined with yellow lights on a dark night. The is a reference to rush off you head, it is called tunnel vision. your ears ring, and your gone "hello heaven"

At one of her concerts in Phoenix she explained that this song is about one of her very good friends who passed away. She said he had a dragon tattoo but she changed the song to say a snake tattoo because she thought that sounded cooler

I believe that this song is a comparison between the man she loves and cocaine (yayo). She is "addicted" to this man and he is like her gateway out of the darkness. She wishes to marry this man and to please him, And he pleases her.

"I like the snake on your tattoo
I like the ivy and the ink blue
    Yayo
    Yes, you
    Yayo"
This depicts a man, some what of a tough guy since he has tattoos. She likes his physical appearance and the feeling she gets around him. In this she is referring to him as "yayo" or cocaine.

"You have to take me right now
From this dark trailer park life now
    Yayo
    How now
    Yayo"
This is her saying that he is getting her out of the dark, he will fix her life and make it lively. She once again refers to him as cocaine and wonders how he'll do it, but knows he will get her out.

"Put me onto your black motorcycle
50’s baby doll dress for my "I do"
It only takes two hours to Nevada
I wear your sparkle, you call me your mama"
This tells that she wishes to marry him and needs no fancy wedding, but a way out of where she is. And he is her escape. Like cocaine, an escape from the darkness of life. She doesn't need a fancy dress or any special wedding as she plans to drive to Nevada, "it only takes two hours to Nevada". "I wear your sparkle" is referring to the ring and "you call me your momma" is because that's what some men reffer to their wives as.

"Let me put on a show for you, daddy
Let me put on a show
Let me put on a show for you, tiger
Let me put on a show"
In these lines she is saying she wishes to please him forever. She wants to "put on a show", or to make love and be the best she can for him. She is acting for him, putting on a huge play. So that he will love her because she is addicted.

"I need you like a baby when I hold you
Like a druggy, like I told you"
She is once again reffering to him as cocaine and saying she needs him like a druggy needs their escape, their "yayo"

"Hello, heaven, you are a tunnel-lined
With yellow lights on a dark night"
She is saying that he is her way out of the darkness. He's her escape. Her "tunnel-lined with yellow lights on a dark night". He is her "heaven", her life after death filled with beauty.

I think this song just means she wants to run away with this guy and get married. She doesnt want to have the dark trailor park life like she said. She want to be free on the road with the man she loves. If youve seen the intro to lana del rey for like some shoe promotion she has a wedding ring and she sings yayo in the video... so possibly at one point in her life she fell in love and almost got married... bc I take it from her song "kill kill" she fell in love with a "dying man"-whatever that means- and had to leave him. So long story short this is why I think its just about running away with the man she loved:

Either "50 $ dress for my I do" or "50s baby doll dress for my I do" = no fancy wedding dress.

Only 2 hours to nevada= get married quick in vegas.

"I wear your sparkle"=ring "you call me your momma"= sometimes a man will call his wife momma.

This girl is entering the last few days of her life.

"Hello heaven. You are a tunnel lined with yellow lights..." She has died and gone to heaven. Whether it'd be taken literally or not, that's what she means.

"Put me onto your black motorcycle. 50 dollar dress for my 'i do'"... This line explains that, unlike most women, this woman doesn't want to go "skydiving" or "scubadiving" and go a bunch of crazy things before she dies. She's fine with just spending the last few minutes of life with her boyfriend, doing the things that'd she'd be doing any other day.

She wants ONE BIG THING though before dying and "going to heaven"... She wants to get married to this man. To make their love official, so she can enter heaven, knowing that she has half of her still left back on earth.

She doesn't need an expensive dress, a cheap 50$ dress will do. She just wants to quickly get married to this man so he knows how much she loves him before she leaves for her destination... "heaven"?

(I know this is not necessarily the exact meaning of the song. But that's how I look at it...)

MEANING: Spending the last few moments of life with the one you love, treating those last moments like they're nothing special, just another simply ordinary day. Because you know that there is a whole new life to live with this person afterwards. Life truly doesn't ever "end"... sweet song... should be released!
