   i believe its asking for a savior, one that will protect them from the cruelties of the world. "we're a broken people living under loaded gun" i think must mean that we are all at the mercy of the people in higher power, {though i do not, nor will i ever, agree to conform with the dogs that run our nation}

   This song is about how we our generation has inherited a world with a lot of bad things in it and we have inherited the ways of our fathers and those ways are sinful and messed up sometimes but you grow up and you just imitate them anyway most of the time. and this song is asking will god save us from this world we inherited will god help us out will he forgive us cuz sometimes we don't know what we are doing is wrong or we have to do wrong shit in order to survive ect. or we were never taught that what we do is a sin or that its wrong ? Are we responsible for shit like that ? Were a broken people living under loaded gun...they're like well we are living under a loaded gun if we don't do the wrong thing i guess we are not going to make it...and the song touches on the powerful feelings that our generation has because of this threat of a "loaded gun". We want to do the right thing and sometimes we have to fight to do it and we cant be out fought we cant be outdone we cant be out matched we cant be out run. Hes saying we have immense power and asking god if he will save us from these challenging times in the year 2011...then he talks about heaven briefly far from the world of you and I...Will we burn inside the fire of a thousand suns ? Will we go to hell because of the sins we are faced with ? Or will will overcome them and see the light ?....lol this is getting to heavy for me I was just thinking about it in my car and this is what I came up with....something along those lines : )

   Pretty much, the Erudite have taken over Chicago, and nobody wants to stand and fight, since they could go under mind control at any moment.
   
   This shows the sad truth about many people, that they would not stand and fight against their oppressors,because they feel as if they are not strong enough to defeat them, with imminent consequences if failure happens

   the song is about an opressed people in an country to afraid to rise up in fear of total annihalation by ones gov. people who fight the system could say america more than half of all bills are passed without public vote. but its about a gov. opressing people not terrorist retards blowing themselfs up to terrify infedels (haha)

   It can't be outrun": pretty much talking about what you were saying, except that when Chester says, "broken people living under loaded gun", he's talking about how they have lost their ways and their rights, under control of a "higher power", and they cannot get rid of it, hence, "and it cant be out fought, it cant be out done, it cant be out matched, it cant be out run".

   I think it is talking about the Taliban ruling over the people of the Middle East region. The Taliban are too powerful for the people of that region to stop and overthrow. Hence,"We're a broken people living under a loaded gun, and they can't be outfought, can't be outdone, it cant be out matched, it cant be out run."
