Betrayed is all about the man who shot dimebag darrel. Dimebag was one of their heroes and obviously felt they should write a song about him. Anyway, the line "A smoking gun in hand, now don't you realize what you've done" is straight after the man shot him, and obviously he didn't actually realise that dimebag wasn't the reason pantera split up, which is why he shot him. This person was a huge fan of pantera and was under the impression they split up because of dimebag. The line "I don't deserve to fall this way, by a man who felt betrayed" is a sort of first person example of this. The lines: "Put a bullet in his back, your hero since you were so young/How could you kill the man who brought salvation through your pain" is sort of interrogating the man by simply saying how the fuck could you? anyway, the whole songs about dimebag and his murderer and I'm sure if you know the story, you will realise all of the other lines I havnt put in here.

I've been a deathbat for some time now, long before most people knew what that was. Anyway, if a7x is a Christian band then I will have sex with you right here. A7x are far from Christian, Matt hated Catholic school so much he threatened to kill his principal to get expelled. His principal actually died and he got blamed for it and got kicked out. Anyway..Point being, if you are an a7x fan you know that this song is about Dimebag Darrell as the others have stated, they even dedicated it to him in the booklet that comes with the CD. Duh!

Zacky Vengance even says it it about Dimebag's killer. He's in the band there is no reason to go against that.

But you can't deny that loads of A7X are straight from the bible.
If M.Shadows hated Catholicism/Christianity then A7X wouldn't have so much biblical reference.
A7X may not be religious but they must have some connection with the bible. You must a great feeling for something, to put so much of it in your songs.
