Fall Out Boy - Yule Shoot Your Eye Out Song Meanings

This one is easy. Whoever wrote, not sure if it's Pete or Patrick or both, was heartbroken around the holidays! DUH! "Don't come home for Christmas/ You're the last thing I want to see underneath the tree/ Merry Christas/ I could care less." Not to complex to be picked apart!

I loved listening to this song. Patrick's voice sounds so comforting even though he's telling this girl to not come back because he basically hates her.

I think it's fairly simple.

The guy in the song just broke the girls heart and knows it, but he doesn't care, and she keeps calling him. It's during Christmas so he's saying 'don't call me when the snow comes down', implying that she did, and he just wishes she would go away and leave him.

I have to say, this is a very good song, one of my faves!

Super easy interpretation.....one of my faves...but I got the most hilarious "remix" of it

okay so the song begins normal and the first time the word christmas is said, the song sorta crashes and pete goes,"uhh.. patrick? joe's jewish." then patrick goes, "oh crap." then the song begins again and every christmas type thing is switched to hanakuh[sp] stuff.

ex:"Don't come home for hanakuh[sp]
You're the last thing I wanna see underneath the menorah."

LMAO! in joe's words, "it's f*cking rediculous."
