He's trying to look forward to the future but it's hard to since all he seems to see is the past.

Is about Chris Gutierrez an old childhood friend of Pete Wentz. Pete had "relations" with Chris' girlfriend and when he found out he blasted pete on his livejournal saying things like who does he think he is (the reason for the title don't you know who I think I am?). one nite stand refers to his sex with chris's girlfriend and put your fingers back to the keys is pete telling him that if he can't get over it or do better than some petty insults on an online blog he needs to put his fingers back to the (keyboard) keys and keep on typing until his heart is content.

Submitted by: armybrat21381 psPatrick2707 - Grenade Jumper was written before the whole Chris incident. Chris actually had put in his livejournal that when they play that song on stage he [Chris] hopes that Pete feels like a fake. But prior to this yes, they were good friends.

Submitted by: machs This song is about when the Canadians didn't make it to the playoffs during the 2006-2007 hockey season. "I'm gonna make you bend and break, it sends you to me without wait" is about the team's attitude before the game, wanting to make their opponents "bend and break". "Say a prayer but let the good times roll, in case god doesn't show" means they are praying they will win, but if God does not answer their prayers, they will still try to have a good time. "I want these words to make things right but it's the wrong that makes the words come to life" means that the hockey players aren't very good at public speaking, so they will just do there best at playing the game instead of trying to convince people they rule. "One night and one more time, thanks for the memories even though they weren't so great, he tastes like you only sweeter" means that this is the last night they will play, and when they lost they said "thanks for the memories even though they weren't so great", and the other team is saying "he tastes like you only sweeter"(that's why it's in quotes) because victory tastes like the Canadians, only sweeter. "I've been looking forward to the future but my eyesight is going bad" means the team was looking forward to winning but they were losing focus. "This Cristobal is only cloudy except for when I look into the past" means that their goalie (who is called Cristobal Huet) and he was only good in the past. "One night stand off" is pretty self-explanitory, because it is a hockey game stand off in one respect.
