(Where is your boy tonight?) and she cheats on him with with FOB (maybe he won't find out what I know) and ends up regretting it. Afterwards FOB ends up liking her (You Need Him .. "where is your boy tonight" means that he's out with some other girl "I hope he is a gentlemen" is a sarcastic way of saying that he's seeing the other girl. "maybe he won't find out what I know, you were the last good thing about this part of town" is that Pete hopes the other guy won't love her as much as he does, because then Pete won't stand a chance.

Submitted by: anonymous I think it's about a guy who was cheated on and he's both angry and has a 'good ridance' attitude. The chorus is kind of sarcastic. But at the same time, he's asking himself what's wrong with him and why he wasn't good enough and he wishes he had her back.

'maybe he won't find out what I know: you were the last good thing about this part of town' suggests that the narrator thinks that the person's partner isn't good enough for her and that she deserves better, another line that backs this statement up is 'but I'm still trying and that's more than I can say for him'

I think it about a guy who likes a girl who is dating/in love with an asshole who is unfaithful but she pretends not to see it, and the first guy feels he would be better than the asshole she is with because he really cares about her unlike the asshole she is with.
Submitted by: anonymous OK, this song is really about a guy (not naming anyone even though it's probably Pete) who likes this one girl but he can't have her because she so caught up with this one guy who doesn't diserve her and uses her, but the other guy is trying to make her see that he's a way better choice for a boyfriend.
