This song was written by the band's vocalist, Corey Taylor, after there was much controversy that the band would break up. Before the coming of their album "Volume 3: The Subliminal Verses" The band was highly stressed and close to falling apart. But the band worked together and wrote this song to show it's relationship with it's fans, and that It would always have their back and would stick together just because of the fans.

Oi, fuck you cameron, just becuase you r a fucking social tool and can't understand the way of the maggots, doesn't mean you have to go dissing our views, especially when you obviously don't know jack funking shit about us! Your obviously just an insecure tool, controlled by the media with no free thought and are just solidifying the fact by stereotryping us, well done man, all you'vr done with your comment uis make you self look even stupider than you already were. Whats wrong you don't get enough attention from your perfect lil "right" life and way of think you have to try and fuck off people with a clue? HA! TOOL! Have fun being a mindless drone, hope never to see you on this side, you couldn't handle the truth, so just go back to your little world of ignorance and have fun fucking your dog, much love!

I was told that it's about the lead singer fighting with his conscience.

Let's see, my interpretation is this: this song is about the War in Iraq. How obvious is that? Enough with this "band breaking up" baloney, there are like, nine people in the band, plus a new album's coming out this year. They're not breaking up, not by a long shot.

Well, anyway, look here:

"We never had to fight in the first place/ we only had to spit back in their face"

We just had to fight back against the terrorists who caused 9/11, not all this Iraq business. But that's not all. This song was on one of the "Rock Against Bush" volumes.
