I play doctor for five minutes flat
Before I cut my heart open...and let the air out
Three bugs, a pound of dust
Some wind spilled before ...

Scissors was Written by Joey ( The Drummer ) and is such a Spiritual Song. It was written about a fictional character peeling his skin because he was so fustrated. This song is actually compared to the end of KoRn's Daddy when Jonothan Loses it and starts crying. This song is the most spiritual song that Slipknot Has Ever written.

This is the only song joey wrote. This is totally emo, but whats funny is joey was obviously emo, then after slipknot, went and joined emo band murderdolls.

Ok first of all.......I need clear 1 thing up here .
Darkangel_x interpretation of this is complete bullshit . He obviously doesn't know what he's talking about . Joey wrote this song yes but he's not a gay emo fag . And the band murderdolls is a gothic band, not emo, so please, slipknot fans , rate his interpretation awful.

The song is about some1 peeling the skin of their arm and causing harm to themselves . But it is also about corey taylors ( the singers ) former drug and alcohol addiction . The lines "you want it , you need it " are talking about drugs. It's an extremely emotional and disturbing song .
