I took her out, it was a Friday night
I wore cologne to get the feeling right
We started making out, and she took off my pants
But then I ...

He enjoys acting like a younger kid still even though girls would rather have sex. He enjoys pulling prank calls and doing other things that he did as a kid. None which impresses other ladies, so they leave him.

This song is about being expected to act a certain way and not wanting to. It's about acting like an adult. This person doesn't want to become an "adult" if it means he has to conform to certain standards. He's stating that he's at that age (23) when you still want to be a kid but need to be an adult to make it in the world. No one likes you act this way because they expect you to "be adult" and not make prank phone calls or not wanting to have sex or just shirking responsibilities. He doesn't think people should be so serious and "grow up" so fast.

God, I swear this song was written about my ex-boyfriend! I think it's about pretty much what it sounds like. An immature guy who doesn't think before he does stuff and doesn't really care much about the outcome of his actions. He's just trying to have fun.

Not entirely sure, but it seems to me that the song is just about being a kid and trying to figure out what to do with himself when he screws up so much. Might not be so true, though.

Okay, here we go.

This is about a completely freakin' oblivious guy who has a really short attention span and doesn't care about life.

Yet, most guys would rather have sex than watch tv.

This song was written about me. I do have ADHD (it fuckin' rocks) and I'm not the one to think baout what I do before I do it. Like yesterday I got in-school-suspension for holding up a screw and asking a girl "wanna screw?"

All I know about this other than what's been said is that the prank phone call thing is to do with Tom. He was the only one who had proper jobs and often got bored resorting to prank phone calls to the shop across from him, pretending to be a member of security, etc.

This song is about acting too young at the wrong times. Like when you should be being serious and acting like you have sense you are goofing of like a freshman.

This is about I guy that doesn't act his age at the wrong times and he can't keep a girl because the ones he pick are more intrested in other things. This is a grate song, though.

This song is about an ex girlfriend of marks, and if you listen to the song you'll hear Tom say ''please stay wendy'' then he says ''don't go away'' this is the same girl from the song Wendy Clear.

well yeah, this song is clearly about not acting your age, and your girlfriends dumping you for it. Its not that hard to get the meaning of the song.

I think this song is about how to many people take life to seriously and that you should joke around every now and then not just walk around and say that I'm this old now so I can't have fun in my life anymore

Basically, the song is about a guy who is at the age of 23. At 23, you are expected to be an adult in order to survive generally and mainly socially. This guy doesn't want to act adult and wants to stay as a typical 'adolescent' e.g. by making prank phone calls and he would rather watch TV than get intimate with someone. At the end of the song it said 'with many years ahead to fall in line why would you reach down on me I never wanna act my age' which is basically saying "fuck you all I'll grow up in my own time!!". Good song.
