Red Hot Chili Peppers - Desecration Smile Song Meanings

There are two versions of this song, the orginal was sung in sum concerts and this one. I think its to do with drugs 'i love the feeling when it falls apart'is to do with getting high and 'All alone not by myself

(Another girl bad for my health)' is about how he found out in rehab that him breaking up with girls made him wanna do drugs and it's also about how he's seen so many people die from drugs like hillel and KURT COBAIN RIP (yeah sorry I just luv nirvana) so he's seen it thru someone else. Desecration means 'the act of depriving something of its sacred character'so I don't now maybe someone can work out the title meaning for me? PERLEASE???????????

Maybe because the fact that his lyrics reflect his personal experiences and drugs DID dominate a large part of his life.

In a sense it is about drugs and relapsing and stuff. I think it's about Claire Essex who he dated 4 years and was so in love with and she was stuffed up for heaps of it just drinkin and doing drugs and dragging anthony down with her and when ever something bad would happen he wud go back to claire which is the I love the feeling when it falls apart part.

This is about a struggle to get over a break-up. She loved him at one time, but dumped him for another guy. He's stuck and doesn't know what to do next, he still loves her.
