Slipknot - Left Behind Song Meanings

I read somewhere that this is about an old friend of coreys who used to be best friends with him but then they seperated due to a drug addiction and he left (corey) behind.
then when he comes running back corey ignores him hence "I ignore you!"

You both are almost right the song is about never existing
being a pile of shit and nobody even caring, this is involving coreys life with his dad, his dad was never there and never really got to know corey but since 2004 the two get together and corey finds out that it dealt with his mom telling his dad never to come back, so since then they are pretty close now
