Slide Away is a song about falling head over heels in love with the one person who you think is going to be by your side forever. Its a song about wanting to let go of everything else around you and run away with the only thing you think is true and real in your life. It also shows a story of dreaming of a girl and wishing and hoping that she feels the same way. Then it turns out this girl does feel the same way and you feel you could slide away forever because now that your together nothing will ever match up to it.. at least that's what the lyrics tell me lol
