    I actually see this as a man who is in love with a girl addicted to drugs that he himself also used to do. He doesn't do the drugs any longer but He feels guilty because he doesn't act on his desire to force her her away from them ( as seen at the beginning). Throughout the music video there are skeptical looking guys that look like a dealers. he separates her from multiple people who he thinks could be dealing to her. eventually she over doses and he completely blames himself for: A. introducing her to the drugs in the first place and B. not doing enough to stop her. he starts slipping into madness from the guilt and starts seeing her everywhere especially in the bar where hes dancing with a vision of her. he hears the guy mocking him and sees hes with a girl and flips out and beats the shit out of him. he sees his lover on the beach in the end and she tells him not to blame himself for what she has done... but he still cant except it. the last vision vanishes as hes left with reality of something bad he has REALLY done and is met with the crew of the guy he beat up seeking revenge. I can see how it looks like a story of abuse but she didn't look beat up when she was laying dead on the couch. she looked at peace. he never seems to actually hit her either. in fact it even shows a crack pipe in the beginning on the table hes breaking.

    I'm a girl and i had the same problem with my boyfriend. He was super jealous on everyone and everything. even on my family! and my friends! he wanted me just for himself and became abusive and agrresive. I know what this song is about, and the video... And when the girl is finally gone (she doesn't love him anymore because he took her dignity and gave her no more respect,trust, love and faith), he realises what he has done. The boy in the song repents for what he has done, and wants her back. But boy its too late. That girl is gone forever, believe me. the point of the song: make up your mind and find a right path in life, and stick to it. Without no love and trust there is no normal life.

    This song is about a man who suffers from some kind of schizophrenia/hallucinations, of which have come to center around this girl that he really likes, but can't get up the guts to tell her. So, instead, his mind creates a parallel reality in which he is with her. In the end, he realizes that all of it is fake, and just can't deal with it anymore, but he comes to terms with his version of "her" and comes to peace with himself.

    I see that people say its about a man who kills his girlfriend and kills himself. But before I saw those, I thought it was about a vision. In the music video, there are scenes were the girl is with him, but I don't think she's there. She's a vision. She disappears at the scene were the guy looked outside and saw that man. She's also not there when the he's dancing with "her". She's a vision and she might be a real character, too. She kisses the guy who laughs at him for dancing alone. I think they are both in a relationship and the guy is super jealous. He also starts imagining her everywhere. She's really not there. I think that's why they call it, " Crush"
    It's because he loves her

    What I think happened was he tried to save her from the people walking up to him in the end and he feels guilt that he couldn't save her the reason I don't think he killed her is because he got a doctor to try and keep her alive because if he killed her the doctor can turn right around and turn him in to the police so what he does is takes what they took from him...there girlfriends and wives he just invisions his wife with them to remind himself what they did to him in the end the mob is walking up to him to kill him for doing what he did to him but im not to sure on the end cause it shows the mob with melee weapons and it shows him commiting suicide

    He feels guilty for killing his girlfriend and kills himself afterwards.

    The nightmares are haunting him just before he passes.

    With just these first 2 phrases you can already make out the conclusion that this guy had some sort of connection to this girl in an intense way.

    from the 2phrase he says

    "you cant be me (meaning you cant be be cause you don't know what kind of pain im in)

    I will become you, tonight"

    (meaning that hes gunna try to be like her and for get about her as she doesn't care about him for something he did or was to shy to confront her about)

    Next 3 paragraphs he explains his pain and suffering. Then (Importantly HINTS GUILT) as if he did something wrong)

    However, in the 4th paragraph he mentions

    "Bridges I've been dreaming are going down,
    They're changing my future
    Visions I had buried underground,
    Return us our futures"

    <----- its obvious that him and her had some sort of future plans and but now the're buried underground (metaphorically speaking - he is dead and lost all hopes and the pathways to his dreams are gone ((Bridges I've been dreaming are going down))




    So with all this said, there were 3 ppl involved.

    him this SO CALLED GIRL and her boyfriend which they are all probably good friends, but then the guy cheats on her and something devastating happend OR!

    all 3 of them were on Ecstasy and the guy who is telling the story got jealous that he didn't make a move and his friend did.

    That's why he couldn't wait for the night to end and ran out into the cold light,however the guy fuckin her either gave her something or idk lol HE doesnt really HINT or foreshadow what the guy did to her in the end.

    I think its about a man who feels so much for his girl, but he cant admit it because he feels its not manly, but his jealous side takes over when he sees her with another man. but because he cant tell how he really feels, all she sees is his jealousy and she feels crushed by it.
