Placebo - This Picture Meaning

Song Released: 2003
This Picture Lyrics
As the cigarette burns on my chest
I wrote a poem that described her world
That put my friendship to the test
And late at night
Whilst on all fours
She used to watch me kiss the floor
What's wrong...
-
I think it is about drugs, and a Brian's friend that could have been in drugs with him, that's why he sang "Kissed the floor" un general he kinda said goodbye to that world of drugs
-
Aging and the inevitable passage of time and the end of youth. All of this alongside memories of a bittersweet relationship from the past.
-
It's about Brian. Moving out of a phase of his life but finding it hard to say goodbye.
-
I think this song is about a girl that Brian Molko once knew and fell for. But upon discovering that he's bisexual, the girl left him and hence the song.
I like this song very much it gets me feeling melancholic. I really don't understand what the song really really is about, but I do relate a lot to this song
placebo rox!
