We're All to Blame Lyrics

Take everything left from me

All to blame

How can we still succeed taking what we don't need?

Telling lies, alibis, selling all the hate that we breed

Super size our tragedies (You can't define me....or justify greed)

Bought in the...

We'll is no secret to me what this sings refers to. The words in the song lays it out plainly, so its up to us.....really, and what we make of the song. They are rebelling against it, but what can they do but give hints here and there. Doesn't take a beautiful mind to break it down. Its what they call in plain sight. the funny thing is tho, you see all this going on, yet still to be a part of the movement, whether by choice or be it force. Its a sad reality. Truth is indeed stranger than fiction.......

The way I see it, this song is about how the United States is today. And the end of the song brings us to the present, where the United States is beginning to crumble apart.

I've always interpreted this song as a commentary on the Iraq/Afghanistan situation. More specifically, a negative judgement regarding the behavior of America/Americans/George W. Bush.

I think this song is about taking things for granted and being greedy and not really wanting to work for anything. I mean the lyrics say that all...
    (And we're all to blame,
    We've gone too far,
    From pride to shame,
    We're trying so hard,
    We're dying in vain,
    We're hopelessly blissful and blind
    To all we are,
We want it all WITH NO SACRIFICE)...Also in the second verse...(This greed that we just can't resist)... The narrator wants to accomplish and earn something on his own but he can't help taking the easy way out.
