This song is about two people who desperately need to get away from their lives at the moment. All they want to do is start new and fresh somewhere else where no one knows them.
They know that they are strong enough to move on, making it so that people are "not gonna get [them]". Hope this helps; its pretty self explanitory.

I think that this song is almost like a sequal to all about us on the fact that yulia shot that one guy(and probaly killed him) and like in the beginning of not gonna get us there getting mug shots and for there they must have done something to get there and then they escaped and are running away to a place where no one will get them and if they do get caught it won't matter because they love each other but I don't know that's what I think but love the song

Two teens lovers running away together and to never return to the life that they are running from maybe from parents who don't want the relationship. But they are in love and that's all that matters to them.

I think it's about two people who love each so much that no one will separate them. They're "Not Gonna Get Us". In the music video they ride on a semi away from everyone into the cold.
