   I feel that its about a heroin addiction, where it affects him in a negative way, which he cannot stand, but has become so dependant on the high that the drug gives him, that he cannot stay away from it, as drugs such as this are highly addictive substances.

   It is just about how a sweet relationship truns into break . And I think it is too emotional feelings of a person whose heart has broken down . And drug addiction is not its main theme . Logically a person take drug emotionally when something bad hit his or her life . So the song is too logical, modern. It is not beyond reality.

    I honestly think this song has multiple meanings to it, whether it's a relationship with family, your boyfriend/girlfriend, or even a friend.
    
    In my point of view, this song is telling me about all those jerks who back stabbed and betrayed me because I wasnt popular or "good enough" for them. They were all girls, too. :/ I'm basically the only girl in my school who can't get along with other girls very well because a lot of them betrayed me when we were friends, and yet I still wanna be their friend. :(
    
    Betrayal breaks the heart and is nothing by knives in my back.
    
    It's just my opinion, but this song could be about a relationship. Not sure. :-/

    If you watch the official music video, it is obvious that this song is about abusive relationships. These relationships could be between lovers or even parent-child relationships. This song speaks of the abuse and how we seem to not be able to leave "why do I love you?".

    I've seen interviews where adam says "its about love hate relationships" which is obvious, but it could be love/hate relationships with more than just a person. It could also be about hating drugs, but doing them anyway cause you're addicted.
