This song is Thunderbird sung backwards. Sounds like he sung words sounding like the backwards versions from Thunderbird.

Funny, this song came out a full five years before Thunderbird.

Although it came out in 2004, actually, the band started playing Thunderbird at shows in 1999.

Not backwards, exactly. He listened to Thunderbird backwards and then made what he heard into the lyrics of a song.
