Every track Tool puts on their records means something. This track is followed by “Jimmy”, a track about his mom getting paralyzed when he was eleven. “Intermission” is circus music transitioning into the next track, (yes, we all know that). However, the reason it is circus music is because it’s music an eleven year old child would find entertaining. As the transition unfolds it shows you the major change Maynard endured at the age of eleven.

I see is at yes an intermission from all the deepness of there songs and just to have time to think like a brake for digestion but it is just an intro into the next song and the guy with tada at the end i think your just over anaylising it even though the number 11 is segnifigant because thats the age he was when his mother became paralised.
